A doctor has provided 1 answer

UTI, Simple cystitis: Approximately half of all women above the age of 18 years will develop a urinary tract infection in their lifetime, and about a third will have another UTI within 6 months. Complicated UTI (infection extending to the kidney, abnormal genitourinary tract, catheter) and recurrent non-complicated UTI (2 episodes within 6 months, or 3 episodes within the same year) should be evaluated by a doctors.
