good day i would like to know if there are any risks associated with doing circumcision at the doctors room for 6 year olds or i need hospitalisation?

Basics: This is a simple procedure but requires general anesthesia at that age. While it was done in the hospital setting 3-4 decades ago the safety & low complication rate moved it to a day surgery/outpatient surgicenter procedure. The attending docs would always consider an overnight stay if any problems were encountered but this would be a rare exception.
