Treat symptoms with rest, fluids and fever control. Nasal saline is often effective in reducing nasal congestion. Testing and quarantine is recommended if positive for COVID 19 infection. Watch for signs of distress, dehydration and prolonged fever. Please follow up, symptoms should begin to improve in the next 14 days. No cough syrup is typically used for younger children.
