Likely eczema: Common baby(and older ) skin condition-can be mild up to awfull. Most commonly reated to mild intolerance , avoid milk if breastfeeding for a could months and see(I hope you are breastfeeding) , or change to non dairy formula, if it goes away you know dairy does not and never will work well with her system and save her years of miserable inflammatory illness) Lots of good nutrition , no worries .

Where/size/etc.: "Red patch" is not much of a description when it comes to sorting out infant skin issues. At the nape of the neck, or over the eyelids it could be a common birth mark. It could also be a birth mark located elsewhere, an infectious process, eczema, etc. You are welcome to start over with more information or just bring it up at a regular checkup. Most of these are no need to worry.
