Dry scalp in baby causing pealing and redness?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cradle cap: may be caused by seborrheic dermatitis or infantile eczema and gets better with age. Wash the scalp every few days with a mild shampoo and massage scalp with fingertips. Sometimes applying 1% hydrocortisone cream thinnly for a few days is helpful. If there are a lot of crusts and redness, there could be infection and need to have assessment. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/cradle-cap/symptoms-causes/syc-20350396
