I am a new mom as of may 2020 and have been receiving pressure from family regarding seeing our newborn. our pediatricians have not been able to offer much advice since there is limited info on the topic.can you offer your expert opinion on visiting?

Precautions: Normal precautions should be taken. Make sure everyone is vaccinated for pertussis, keep visits to immediate family only (grandparents, aunts, uncles), no children under 12, everyone must wash hands and wear masks, Ask about travel and exposure (ie/ socials, crowds, protests), ask about symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat, nausea, etc). No kissing the baby! Sanitize after they leave.
