Hello i read somewhere that taking spirilolactone with ibuprofen is bad? i take spirilolactone 100 mg once a day for acne and ibuprofen once a day only when needed. thank you.

Avoid ibuprofen: Before taking spironolactone, tell your doctor if you also use ibuprofen. You may need dose adjustments or special tests in order to safely take both medications together. If you are receiving this combination drink plenty of water. Blood pressure and kidney function should be monitored as well. If you can avoid taking ibuprofen and take acetaminophen instead, do so.
