No: Both zithromax and biaxin (clarithromycin) are macrolids and have similar spectrum best to not takr zithromax and use biaxin (clarithromycin) for this.

Biaxin (clarithromycin) and clarithro: Are both the same medicine just different names trade & generic respectively. Make sure there is no duplication in meds. This could happen if your doctor does not know what the other doc is giving you.
