May be normal 4u: Around 1 person in 1000 just runs a high ggt; it's hereditary. If everything else is okay including alk phos i'd ignore it unless your physician is concerned. If there's anything else to suggest liver disease, these enzymes keep deadly things like wilson's and hemochromatosis and hepatitis from sneaking up on us -- & with ggt, alcohol and med allergies -- get follow-up.
