Irregular bleeding: Irregular bleeding can be caused by hormonal fluctuations. Use of Oral/IM contraceptives and Perimenopause can cause menstrual cycles to lengthen or shorten, become heavier or lighter. Talk to your Dr at your annual exam. They can check for hormone levels to see where you are in the process. They can also check for thyroid problems, cervical/uterine masses or thickening of the uterine lining.
