Not a bad idea: Always a good idea to establish with a doc, either GP or gynecologist if trying to conceive. A thorough review of preexistent medical conditions, current meds and supplements as well as needed supplements once pregnant will only help in the process.

Yes: Yes, you and your wife should see a GYN MD particularly one who specializes in fertility issues. He/she may recommend that you also see a Urologist to provide a sperm analysis and examination.

Start tracking your: cycles, if 28 day cycle, day 14 is ovulation. Best fertility time could be days 10, 12, and 14 of a 28 day cycle. Eat less bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, and sugar. I f cycles are not regular, or pain interferes with sex, seek treatment with your doctor.
