Lumbar origin: Even though no back symptoms, radiating pain from lumbar spine common to give nonspecific symptoms such as numbness, legs less responsive, groin/testicular pain. If pain in testicle is not constant and not asymmetry/swelling, higher suspicion that a nerve originating lumbosacral area irritated. Usually course is self-limited with worse symptoms present 10 to 2wks and full resolution within 4-6 wks.
