It may be: It may be the very earliest sign of developing maturation in the breast. Puberty is coming earlier than ages 10-11 in this society due to better nutrition. However, if breast budding or nipple prominence appears in your daughter at this age, please have her see a Pediatrician, as early puberty can actually occur due to non normal hormonal development or other causes.
