Usually fine: Irregular periods are usually nothing to worry about. If you are on oral contraceptives, though, an early period may indicate that you missed one or more doses and are no longer protected. In this case you should use alternative forms of birth control until you are 10 days into your next monthly pack. If the irregularity persists, talk to your gyn Dr. for a workup.
