Obtain blood test: You need to obtain, via the GYN MD, a blood quantitative hCG pregnancy test which can detect very small amounts of the hormone. When tubal ligations fail, the pregnancy will produce a faint positive urine test and a pregnancy(ectopic) in the Fallopian tube stump which can rupture with severe hemorrhaging and life threatening consequences.
