My daughter, 7 months old, has skin peeling in between her toes on one foot. could this be a fungus? if so what ointment can i get? or could it be nothing? is there a way i could tell?

Many conditions: The peeling may be related to dry skin or a sign of a systemic problem. Monitor her temperature, watch for red eyes, rash, swelling and report these findings right away to your pediatrician. Fungal skin infections usually present at this age with a rash.
Apply local baby eczema cream several times daily, avoid immersion in water and fragranced products. If the peeling spreads, please see the ED.
