Time/cold compress: Occasionally, the penile erection will result in the foreskin being retracted farther than normal. After intercourse, the area is slightly inflammed and will take time for that inflammation to reduce so that the foreskin can go back. Try cold compresses to help with the pain and speed up the process. If it does not reduce within 24 hours or if the head of the penis is being compressed, see a DR.
