Regular survey: Adults should have a regular skin survey annually at their physical exam to identify any unusual growths or changing moles. Ask your Dr to look at this painful mole to determine if it should be biopsied. Changes in color, shape and pain can indicate that this mole needs to be investigated. Your regular Dr may do this themselves or may refer you to a dermatologist.
