Check with OB: During pregnancy, the pelvic musculature and ligaments begin to relax in anticipation of the birth. This can cause compensatory pain or soreness in inner thighs, hips, knees. NSAID pain relievers such as flurbuprofen or ibuprofen can cause bleeding during pregnancy and so are not recommended. Use acetaminophen instead and try cold compresses to alleviate the pain.
