Tendonitis: I feel calcific tendonitis or bursitis of the shoulder is the problem. I recommend applying alternating cold and semihot applications and taking anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen or naproxen for a week. If no improvement, consult an orthopedic specialist for evaluation and treatment options which may include a corticosteroid injection into the trigger point of the shoulder pain.
