Blueish brusing with purple coloured dots appeared in my 8yr olds chin today all marks are underneath the skin pressing the skin they still are there he feels well no marks anywhere else gp wasn't concerned. what could this be and what should i do?

Minor trauma: 8 year olds are typically full of bumps and bruises as they play and romp vigorously. If the bruising and dots are just on his chin there is a good chance that there was some minor trauma that caused it. Since he does not have any marks anywhere else, and his GP has examined him, I wouldn't worry.
