My son's umbilical cord has dried however there is blood when we change his nappy what should i do?

Do not worry.: If it is a stain on the diaper, do not worry. You may want to put the diaper band below the umbilicus so as to allow the area to remain dry and it reduces chances of infection. I mean do not use oversized diaper for now.
