With a physician: Chemical burns of scalp are serious. If it shows redness/inflammation, it's 1st degree. If there is blistering, it's second. If entire outer layer, epithelium is burned, it's third degree. Rx may involve cleansing, topical salves, systemic antibiotics. Never us a hair chemical again on your scalp, the next reaction could be worse. Burns are serious, & u want best chance of healing without scars.
