Good question: Discuss this valid concern with your pulmonologist and your eye doctor. Inhaled steroids may increase eye pressure. There should be a conversation between you and your providers, about the risks and benefits of a particular treatment for you. The benefits of taking Symbicort in your case, may outweigh the risk to your vision, especially as you are under the close supervision of an eye doctor.
