Test for STI: You may be infected with a bacteria or yeast not necessarily sexually transmitted, but it is important that you be tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichimonas (all sexually transmitted). I would additionally recommend testing for syphilis and HIV as part of a sexually transmitted infection panel. Your partner should be tested as well.
