A member asked:

I have low cervix at 27 wks pregnant w/ 4th. no compliments w/ other 3 deliveries. all unmedicated & no tearing. would you recommend c-section or vaginal delivery? studies indicate c section is better with prolapse but looking for multiple opinions

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Common after child: bearing. Method of delivery now will likely not make a big difference, just carrying the pregnancy is the primary cause. It can worsen, in the future requiring surgery. At menopause, when hormone levels drop, it can become much worse.
