What to do when you hit the back of your head? and a bump 1 inch high shows up.

Hit head: Small head bumps usually aren't an issue. Dizziness, sensitivity to lights, confusion, loss of consciousness, blurred vision, or nausea are cause for concern and should be evaluated immediately by your physician or the emergency room. Ice and pressure on raised lump help as well. Immediate evaluation needed for those on blood thinners.
