A member asked:

I think i have chlamida from bleeding a little after any penetration also the inflation around the vagina opening. i have ordered doxycycline antibiotics. i cant go to the gynecologist about it. is it safe to take them?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can't say: I can't say if the antibiotics are safe to take or not as I can't confirm exactly what is being treated. Inappropriate antibiotic use has consequences, most notably resistance to future use when used frequently making them ineffective. Find a way to see a Public Health Clinic to be tested for STD's )Chlamydia & others) before considering taking medications.
