Aerophagia: I believe that you are mainly feeling anxiety and then making yourself belch. When doing so you are only swallowing more air and creating a vicious cycle. Perhaps stress management therapy would be very helpful in coaching you on how to deal with and prevent anxiety. If you want to prevent gas formation after meals, avoid gassy foods and beverages and take simethicone 1/2 hour after a meal.
