Partly correct: Making one's own household cleaner is fine to do, and is usually cheaper than buying ready-made cleaner. However, a dish soap solution will clean (remove dirty stuff) and sanitize (removing MOST germs) fine, but extra effort will be needed to disinfect surfaces. That's because disinfecting means removing almost ALL the germs. Sanitizing is usually adequate. Clothes get washer-dryer treatment.
