Water and COVID 19: At this point, there is no evidence that COVID 19 is a waterborne disease. Chemically treated pools contain chlorine and other chemicals that kill the virus. Even if it is a salt-water pool it isn't spread by water. But, COVID 19 can still be spread by people who are close to one another.
