I am scheduled to have a nuclear stress test but upon research it looks like a stress echo can accomplish same results? i would prefer not to intake radioactive stuff.

Talk to cardio: All tests are done in a specific context and based on patient’s specific situation and comorbidities. There are clear indications and contraindications for each test and all details matter. Your cardiologist should be able to explain why the need for a nuclear stress test in your case.
