Yes: It is not that common but can be seen. The pain should be transient and short lived. If worsening, accompanied by headaches, fevers, weakness in the extremities, the doctor should be notified immediately.

Unlikely: That would be an unlikely scenario. The neck and thoracic spine pain may be totally unrelated unless you have symptoms of a spinal headache. Talk with your doctor.

Unlikely: Your cervical and thoracic spine pain might be unrelated to the transforaminal epidural steroid injection. You might develop neck pain and positional headache if there if dural puncture. Please see your doctor for evaluation.

Generally No: Likely you may have had pain in these areas and not known it. If you are worried have your doctor evaluate you for this issue. We see often when one area in pain is treated other areas reveal themselves as alternate pain generators that actually have issues needing evaluation.
