Why Acyclovir...: First question one should answer is "Why take Acyclovir?" The majority of humans are HSV1 positive because HSV1 is everywhere on earth. The answer to "Why take Acyclovir" may be that "my partner has HSV1 like most of the world's population, but I don't have it yet (because I am HSV1 negative on my test) and I don't want to ever get it from him." Details matter. HSV1 in most people is on the lips.
