Unlikely: The effects of altitude reverse fairly quickly--w/in 48 hours ; he would have had to go to significant elevation. At worse, worry about a triggered more serious event such as a heart attack, blood clot (car travel?)trave, or stroke (i don't know what you mean by 'dizzy). Even pulmonary edema from altitude clears fast. Two weeks is too long to blame altitude itself. I agree he should be checked out.
