Is bactine effective as hand sanitizer against covid-19 virus?

Probably not: Even though bactine is an antiseptic, it is doubtful it kills viruses. Wash with soap and water and rinse well.

Not so much: Per Federation of American Scientists: "Bactine uses Benzalkonium as an antiseptic (as substance that stops germs). One recent study found that Benzalkoium is not as effective as alcohol-based sanitizers in destroying the virus. Instead, the CDC recommends using hand sanitizers with at least 60% alcohol content.: REF: https://covid19.fas.org/95049-additional-information/iwjp2aonb9
