51 y/o woman. does tonsillitis resolve in less than two weeks? ive had a sore throat for 4+ weeks. no fever.left tonsil white spots. feel like something stuck in throat. i havent been on antibiotics as i assumed it was virus. home remedies?

Sore throat: You may have a strep or other type of bacterial throat infection. Could also be other things. You should be seen by a primary doctor who may take a throat culture.
