I have a sore throat from 6-7 days and yesderday the whole day i didn't have any trouble but it started at night again i spit out some transparent thin mucus while gargling and my soft palate is a bit red m worried as sore throat is a covid symptom.

Rule out Strep: Please see your PCP or an urgent care center for evaluation. You may have Strep pharyngitis. Typical COVID 19 symptoms include fever, dry cough and shortness of breath. Please monitor your temperature, rest and drink fluids.

Sore throat: Do you have a fever of 100.3F or higher? Have you had severe muscle weakness? An y other symptoms? Call your General Physician or Urgent Care to discuss your symptoms. If necessary arrangements will be made to have you tested. With your chronic sore throat have you been isolating. If not you may e spreading whatever disease you do have.
