Hi, i have had a blocked nose for 4 days now. no headache, fever, cough, sore through nothing. just an insane amount of mucous discharge. after my cancer treatment im on augmentin regularly as im prone to infections. should i bee concerned?

Resistant infection?: If you take any strong antibiotic like Augmentin (which is an excellent one) often, there could be a risk for a fungal infection in the sinuses. If you have not used saline irrigation for the sinuses I recommend that 1-2 x/day (several types available @ pharmacy). A steroid nasal spray might also help reduce swelling in the nose & mucus production . If those don’t help consult Dr.
