My 9 year old son developed a bruise on his chin and inside of his mouth, need to know what it can be and what to do? as far as we can determine it should not be of any impact

Good history : Ask your son many questions about what might have happened- any possible traumatic injury that could cause. If there is none & nothing else occurs you can probably wait & see, but if any other unusual bruising occurs I recommend Dr evaluation & some basic blood tests to check for unusual causes of East bruising
