Have severely dry nose, sinuses,throat for a few days now, really uncomfortable. decided to use neti pot to help w/moisture, but when i blew my nose out from it, there was some clear mucous with tiny green specks, the color of algae. what is this?

Dry nose/sinus: May be allergies, sinusitis -the green specks could be infected mucus, or if lots of pollen in your area -pollen. In the age of corona consider mild coronavirus as well. Consider symptomatic treatment and try Zyrtec as well, use vasoline at tip of nose to add some moisture. If persists worsens consider adding antibiotics . Discuss with your MD regarding corona F/u/ w/ MD
