Contact dermatitis: She may have localized irritation of the skin and underlying eczema. Contact dermatitis may also be one consideration. Avoid harsh soaps, fragrance and immersion in water. Apply a thin layer of Corticosteroid topical ointment three times daily and use a lotion for eczema several times per day to keep the skin moisturized.
