I had sternum chest pain that was sharp and worse when leaning backwards. it lasted for 10 minutes or less. no dizziness or sob. i do have benign ectopics per my cardiologist. did not have ectopics during this episode. what could be the cause?

Not cardiac: Your symptoms do not suggest that the pain is related to your heart; it is also not related to your history of benign ectopics. Positional pain without other symptoms and lasting briefly is mostly likely musculol-ligamentous, not cardiac.
