I have had this spot in my vision, it's like i stared at a light and looked away, the ophthalmologist said its usually due to viral inflammation, i don't recall having a virus, what else could it be? he said my eyes looked fine

See another ophtho: He was trying to guess at what it might be, should never ‘guess’ that, but if your lens is ulcerated, or changed in size/shape from being changed by an infection, it should have a specific pattern you can see using one if the eye doctor’s special scopes
