Dry mouth some difficulty swallowing.burning abdominal pain in mid center constipation. suspected lpr and reflux. doctor did a test and my ca19-9 came back elevated at 40. normal is up to 37.5.can this be related to my gastro issues or always cancer?

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, CA 19-8 is not a good test for diagnosing cancer and the level you provided is not diagnostic of anything. Wish you good health!
