Testis pain = see Dr: Testicle pain means a trip to the doctor right away because a testicle's blood supply can be twisted off (called torsion). When that happens, the testicle can die. Other causes of testicle pain include trauma, infection, twisting of an appendix of a testicle (a small lump next to a testicle), etc. Since one usually cannot tell if his testicle is twisted, an exam by a clinic or ER doctor is needed.

Pain in your scrotum: Pain in your testicle can be anything from a minor inconvenience to an emergency. Is the pain intolerable? Do you have a fever? Is the scrotum swelling? If so you may need to get to an urgent care center. Less urgent would be an inguinal hernia, and a swelling in the tubing like a spermatocele or varicocele. But, if the pain persists please get to a trusted medical provider soon.
