Ulcer ? : Gastritis can cause significant pain, but a peptic ulcer is more serious, can be associated with bleeding, and has other signs and symptoms. Your mix of pain killer and coffee in the morning without eating over time is a set-up for this. Suggest you see a doctor, check stool for occult blood, find out if you have an ulcer, and eat right !

Hi. I've been feeling heartburn and pain when drinking and swallowing. Also, a sharp pain in my left side of the chest radiating down to my stomach. More like a burning sensation or similar. Almost feels like my liquids or foods touch my heart.
