Depends on details: People range from age 0 to about 116 years, about 5 to 500 pounds, and all sorts of medical backgrounds. Heart rates are normally higher during exercise, etc. A 113 heart rate is normal in some people part of the time, but rarely normal in one person all of the time. Details matter. Otherwise, a number is just a number, with little or no meaning. One's primary care doctor can help with advice.

Rapid Heart Rate: A sustained heart rate of 113-114 in an adult is referred to as tachycardia and is not normal. This does not mean you have a disease process. I would have a work up for underlying cardiac disease or metabolic disorders, such as hyperthyroidism. It is a good idea to see a health care provider for a physical exam.
