Ace and arbs: Cold-like symptoms should not cause you to stop your cholesterol treatment. If covid positive then your primary care doctor will have to look at the benefits and risks. Currently, ace inhibitors and arb’s are being considered to be held if covid positive.

Unlikely due to drug: By cold symptoms, do you mean sore throat, runny nose, tiredness, and cough? If so, those are not known effects of the medicine and may be an actual cold. If you have other symptoms, please describe. And did you decide to stop the medicine yourself? If so, be sure you get in touch with your doctor and let him/her know about your change in therapy and to discuss your symptoms.
