A member asked:

Is it possible to have the normal period for 4 months and be pregnant? i had two pregnancy tests, the first two weeks after having intercourse, and the second was three weeks after having intercourse and both came out negative

"Normal" period: A "normal" period? Was the period the usual number of days and flow? Pregnancy tests 2 or 3 weeks after unprotected intercourse can be misleading. The ideal time to test is after a missed period. If the two PG tests were negative AND you had a normal period after that time the likely result is no pregnancy.

Blood test: If you have any doubt, get a blood test for HCG level. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine, Wish you good health!
